Nödingeskolan is a K-6 school located behind Ale torg in Nödinge. The school is divided into a primary building and a middle school building on either side of a large schoolyard. The school has about 700 students.

Nödingeskolan is a PALS-certified school!

The PALS model means that the school works systematically with the staff's approach. Great emphasis is placed on a generally positive climate at the school, created by the adults. An important goal is to reach all of the school's students. The model is based on several strategies that research shows are significant for both mental health and academic results.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to developing a modern leisure activity where we focus on continuously improving the quality of education. Through clear responsibility and curiosity to learn new things, we increase students' knowledge and provide them with access to a high-quality leisure center.

The assignment in the leisure center combines care with pedagogy, and you inspire students to explore, learn, and acquire new interests together with others in the leisure center's activities. As a leisure teacher, you will have a varied job where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the education in the leisure center. During school hours, you will work in a classroom, and depending on your qualifications, you may plan and conduct your own lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will design a joyful and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus, where school and leisure center work closely together. In the leisure center, we work with pedagogical planning based on an annual cycle based on the chapter for leisure centers in Lgr11. This is to ensure systematic quality work and also to make it visible to students and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in leisure education. We would like you to have work experience from leisure centers and schools, but we are also curious about you who are newly graduated. Equivalent education may also be of interest.

You have good knowledge of the national governing documents for leisure centers and create safe relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. With a positive approach, you start from the student's ability to develop socially and academically and have a close collaboration with other educators at the school.

You have clear communication, understand the importance of being a team player, and contribute with a positive spirit. You are flexible, proactive, and have a solution-oriented focus on operations with the student's development and best interests in focus.

In addition to qualifications, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
